As an integral part of providing the very latest press metal equipment, Metal Form Group can design and manufacturer guarding to conform to Australia standard AS-4024.1 – 2006 Safety of Machinery. The modular guarding designs Metal Form offer can be localised around a single danger point or encompass a complete line to form a safety zone.
The use of fixed guarding together with electronic curtains and non contact magnetic switches allows full visibility and easy material handling access for the production line with instant shut down when the electronic curtain is crossed.
Metal Form’s own professional installation staff ensure all electrical and electronic components used in the safety equipment are to Cat 4 standard. The company works with all the major suppliers of safety equipment so if the customer has a particular preference this can easily be accommodated.
On completion of the guarding a risk assessment will be supplied to the end user free of charge.
As with all Metal Form equipment purchases the guarding package can be rolled into one of the companies unique finance packages.
