What type of Plasma machine do you sell?
We are the Australian distributor for the Plasmacam DHC2 and Samson 510 CNC robotic plasma cutting machines. The Plasmacam and Samson are designed and manufactured in the USA.

Do you sell hand held plasma cutter?
Yes we distribute the Hypertherm range of plasma cutters. These can be purchased separately or matched to our machines.

What brand of cutting tools do you sell?
We distribute the German-made Karnasch range of cores drills, burrs, holesaws.

What brand mechanical presses do you sell?
We are Australian and New Zealand sole agent for Seyi presses from Taiwan. Seyi have been market leaders in the power press sales and manufacture for more than fifty years. The Seyi ranges covers single crank, double crank, straight sided, link motion, high speed, crankless presses ranging from 25 ton to 1000 ton.

Do you sell hydraulic presses?
Yes we are agents for Locatelli (Italy) and Dees (Taiwan).
Locatelli have been designing & manufacturing high speed hydraulic presses up to 600 ton for more than 80 years. The Locatelli range includes precision presses for fine work such as jewellery and badge manufacturing.
Dees have been designing & manufacturing hydraulic presses since 1976 and offer a comprehensive range of traditional deep drawing, forging, triple action and tandem hydraulic presses up to 5000 ton.

Do you offer other metal forming options?
We offer both hydroforming and flowforming machine technology form leading machine manufacturers. These are highly specialised and technical processes.
Hydroforming process – A blank with a closed form internally pressured using fluid and using an external die to form the desired shape. This process is now widely used in automotive products eliminating costly tooling and material waste.
Flowforming – Very similar to conventional metal spinning. The main difference is metal spinning uses relatively thin material and produces the shape of a finished part from the diameter of the starting blank. Flowforming produces a finished shape by working from the thickness of the starting blank creating a part considerably thinner than the starting thickness.

Can you assist with production line development?
Yes we can. We can design, install and commission complete production lines. We offer a complete turn-key service providing all the machinery and tooling required. We are often called upon to project manage new products and manufacturing lines. Complimenting our project management and supply we also offer our own Metal Form Finance where our dedicated consultant can provide a tailor-made finance package to suit your requirements.

What is the maximum coil width and coil weight offered on MFG’s range of coil handling equipment?
Our standard range covers material up to 1600mm wide and 15,000kg coil weight as standard. Special sizes are designed and custom built on request to suit your required specifications.

Do you install the metal forming equipment you sell?
Yes. We install, commission and include operator training. We offer full parts and labour warranty along with 24/7 service. Our service team is factory-trained in all facets of our equipment.

Do you service other brands of equipment?
Yes we can service and repair any type of metal forming equipment - power or hydraulic press, roll forming line, coil handling equipment, load monitoring equipment or quick die change equipment. In fact our fully equipped maintenance and service team can be called upon for repairs or servicing of just about any type of machine tool.

What finance services do Metal Form Group offer?

Kennametal from the USA. Kennametal’s comprehensive metalworking range covers milling, turning, tapping, hole making and general tooling for both CNC and conventional machines.

What does your tooling supplies range cover?
Basically any component required to manufacture a press tool. Our range of standard die components covers die springs, gas springs, guide pins & guide bushes, punches, pilots etc.

What type of metal stamped parts does Metal Form Group manufacture?
We are a contract metal stamping shop and our customers vary from industries such as automotive, building product, refrigeration, whitegoods, electrical, rainwater products just to name a few. If it’s in pressed metal then we can make it. Our modern press shop capacity ranges up to 400 ton with transfer.

Yes we can and we are able to assist in the development and implementation of production.

Do you deliver Australia wide?
Yes, most of our small toolroom supplies are delivered via overnight airbag. All other items are delivered by road. We also courier to New Zealand, South East Asia and globally.
